29 Crossfit Fails – That’ll Make You Think Twice About Your WOD

Who loves crossfit?  I know it’s a debate about what’s the best between bodybuilders and crossfit people, but let’s call a truce and enjoy the fails.  One thing for sure, crossfit is not for the casual exerciser.  It can be injury prone and dangerous for the inexperienced.  Many chiropractors, MDs, orthopedists and massage therapists have seen a lot of injuries from crossfit.  Let’s take a look at some of the bloopers of this video and examine how you can get injured.  The full youtube video is on page 3.

1. Falls

You jump a lot in crossfit.  Make sure you land softly and  hopefully, not on your face.


2. Leaps

It’s common to be expected to be a gazelle.  But, you may look more like a bull in a china store.


3. Lift heavy things with your neck

Crossfit lifters often use their neck to support heavy weight.  I see a headache in their future.


This guy tries to support his weights in the front of his neck.  It’s not a good idea to support all of that weight with the smallest part of your body.  Just sayin’.


4. Using equipment improperly

This guy is being innovative with this equipment.  It’s not the best set up for biceps but at least he’s being creative.
